SLS has chapel worship each Wednesday during the school year. Each classroom leads one of these chapel services. Mr. Heilman and his fourth grade led our worship this week. The theme was sharing and caring for one another. We heard the Bible story of Jesus feeding the five thousand. We talked about ways to share our faith and earth possessions with people around us.Mr. Heilman's chapels are famous for containing a game or quiz. This year's chapel was no exception. The Candy Car pictured above was used to quiz the students about the Bible story. The fourth grade did a terrific job. Many fourth graders also shareds a musical talent before and during the chapel worship. We heard students playing the piano, drums, band instruments and using their voices to praise their Lord.
