Our fourth graders were invited to attend the youth concert presented by the Springfield Symphony this week. This concert was held at Second Baptist on Battlefield Road. We learned about the different types of music and listened to works of Brahms, Beethoven and 'Master of March', JP Sousa. The members of the symphony demonstrated the different orchestra instruments and showed how their sounds all work together in a performance. We love going on field trip to experience learning outside the normal classroom setting.
